A Community Interest Company set up to bring free and subsidised padel, coaching and structured play to schools, families and groups across the areas we serve.
Salus Padel Communities CIC exists to widen access to padel and structured physical activity for people who wouldn't otherwise get a racket in their hand — school children, families on lower incomes, and groups currently underrepresented in racket sports.
Our objectives are to deliver free and subsidised court time and coaching; to run structured, curriculum-linked programmes in schools; to support inclusive and adapted sessions for disabled and older participants; and to reinvest any surplus back into community access rather than into private return.
Salus Padel Communities CIC was incorporated on 26 February 2026 as a private company limited by guarantee, registered with the Community Interest Company regulator, and is not part of Salus Padel's commercial operating business.
It was set up to formalise and grow the community and schools work already running alongside Salus Padel's venues, giving that activity its own governance, its own asset lock, and a clear route for grant funders, schools and community partners to support it directly.
Three directors, appointed on incorporation, 26 February 2026.
Salus Padel Communities CIC is a separate legal entity from Salus Padel Ltd, the operator of Salus Padel's indoor padel venues. The CIC does not trade commercially or take bookings — instead, it organises and channels community, schools and outreach activity that runs on and around Salus Padel's courts.
Salus Padel venues provide court time and facilities in support of the CIC's programmes, including free monthly court hours made available in partnership with Bene Leisure.
This split keeps commercial operations and community provision separately governed, while letting schools, councils and funders deal directly with a CIC whose income is asset-locked to community benefit.
Programmes the CIC organises or intends to organise, delivered on Salus Padel courts:
A 24-week LTA Tennis Foundation programme, currently based at Lift Feversham Primary.
Structured padel sessions for local schools, building toward a target of 50 participating schools.
HAF-linked sessions during school holidays for children who qualify for free school meals.
Sessions for disabled participants and older adults, delivered with specialist partners.
